About Me

I am a final year (ABD) Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CIS), at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I am working at the SECuRE and Trustworthy Computing Lab (SECRETLab), as a researcher on security techonologies under the supervision of Dr. Ragib Hasan.

Currently, I am seeking research positions in academia as well as in the industry. My key research interests include security and privacy for information provenance, service frameworks, distributed and decentralized services, cloud computing, and Internet-of-Things.

Past

Before joining UAB as a Ph.D. student, I was at Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT), Helsinki, Finland. HIIT is a joint research institute between Aalto University and the University of Helsinki. I was working as a researcher in the European Union FP7 PURSUIT Project. Previously, I also worked at Ericsson Research, Finland, as an external researcher from Aalto University.

I graduated with dual Masters, as a European Union Erasmus Mundus Scholar, from the NordSecMob program. I received my MS degrees from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden, and Aalto University (formerly Helsinki University of Technology, TKK), Helsinki, Finland.
